Massive impact on children's attainment and achievement
With U Can Shine our children achieved their best ever results in English with 91% achieving L4+ .
In particular, children entering KS2 at L1a (below average) achieved much better than expected progress with 73% (8/11) gaining L4+.
We believe that U Can Shine had a positive impact on the self esteem and confidence of our pupils in Y6 especially the lower achievers/attainers and the boys (96% of whom achieved L4+).
