What is the U Can Shine toolkit?
The U Can Shine foundation toolkit focuses on your child's total wellbeing, which enables them to experience an exciting innovative coaching approach to aspects of their life and develop their unique talents. The simple to follow journey also allows you to support and work with your child on each aspect and with online support materials, enables you and your child to achieve collective goals.
How does it work?
We offer a variety of coaching packages.
The Bronze coaching package enables your child to use the toolkit in the comfort of their home alone or with support from a parent. Each session focuses and coaches them on a different aspect of their wellbeing (i.e. Health, Self esteem, Self confidence, Friendships etc) and with online support parent and child can use the toolkit to coach each other. It's just like having your own coach and been motivated to make positive changes at the same time.
Once your child has the toolkit in their hands everything else is down to them to make positive and creative changes in their lives.
Silver and Gold coaching packages work in a similar way to Bronze which offers online support at home. However both these packages include live contact with a U Can Shine motivational coach, through scheduled coaching workshops or in the Gold package children receive 1 to 1 coaching experience.
How long does the foundation toolkit last for?
There are 10 sessions provided in the UCS foundation toolkit. We recommend children complete one session per week and you can download a coaching template to use with each session, which we will be uploading to our site soon. Currently under development.
Who created it?
U Can Shine was created by Shaun Weatherhead.
Shaun is the principle designer of U Can Shine's innovative toolkits and is an expert and pioneering coach in child development. From a background of professional sport, business and wellbeing coaching, Shaun over the last 3 years has worked with a vast array of schools, head teachers, teachers, parents and thousands of children on delivering innovative personalised coaching programmes.

How we organise U Can Shine?
The UCS foundation toolkit has been specifically designed to be a simple and effective approach to unlocking your child's potential. It play's an important part in your child's learning and development …it doesn't replace their education…it enhances it! Your child can work with a parent or a friend (preferably another child who also has a UCS toolkit). To assist and help your children get the most out of the foundation toolkit, we are currently developing a toolkit pack to aid you.
What ongoing support do you offer?
We are currently in the process of designing a variety of other exciting toolkits because we recognise the key to unlocking children's enormous potential doesn't just happen over night or come from one toolkit. Your child's development is essential, and as part of their life journey they need to develop the capacity to find solutions to their own challenges.
Also, in the future we're aiming to develop a community forum where we encourage children, and parents to collaborate together, sharing new ideas and ways of helping the UCS community develop more innovative approaches that will empower children to achieve greater happiness and success in their lives.

The whole U Can Shine concept and experience has been designed to make it accessible to everyone! The simple UCS life journey is an incredibly powerful experience for children and parents because it's about real life experiences and focuses on elements that are important to all of us.
